My 6-year-old has been sat on her own in class because she can be disruptive (ADHD). Is isolating her when all the others sit in pairs the correct approach?

Its Absolutely not the correct approach. It will make her feel different and she's at risk of either self isolating due to shaming or becoming further disruptive to get attention to fit in. Either way her self esteem could deteriorate rapidly. That approach in my view is a very uneducated approach to your child's neurodifference.

Both my therapist and my parents believe I have ADHD. My psychiatrist is refusing to diagnose me, or even discuss the possibility of me having ADHD. What can I do about this?

Unfortunately many psychiatrists are not neuro psychiatrists. In my experience many non neurological psychiatrists do not acknowledge ADHD and that it is something to be treated. Its very frustrating because it leaves very few available to diagnose.

What happens when Yu have a total mental breakdownas a wife to a narcissist while still living together?

I was only discussing this with a client yesterday. Very often those living with a narcissist are the ones who end up having a break down, or end up in a treatment centre and go to aftercare being treated like they are the “ sick one” when the opposite is true.

What is the difference between a covert narc and codependency?

A codependent and a narcissist both control, however with different outcomes in mind. The narcissist controls to gain power and destroy, whereas the codependent manipulates to be liked, needed and included. In fact both have an extreme need to be needed. Both have low self esteem.

Is it better for a child to be raised without a narcissist parent, if possible, by only one parent who is not narcissist?

Yes from my experience in my work is causes less confusion for the child and leads to more consistency to be raised by the non narcissistic parent.

You can try and manage yourself not the narcissist. Say how you feel but do not go head to head cognitively. That is their strength.

I never understood how a narcissistic parent will desire their child to become codependent, or mirror and adapt their personality disorder until I discovered I made a child with one. How do you coparent with someone who will use their children?

Yes the narcissistic parent absolutely can make their child codependent on them. They groom them by making them the golden child or they can go the other way and make them feel inadequate and dependent on them, either way the child ends up needing the narcissistic parent's continuous approval in order to feel adequate as a person.

I am wondering why knowing that this person is toxic to be with, do you spend any time with her? Sounds like you might need to work on your boundaries just like I had to.

Yes some narcissistic kids do gaslight their parents to the point of emotional destabilisation thus causing doubt and confusion in their parents and in other members of the family I.e. siblings.
